Integrating human rights in development

Carried out with Dóchas, the umbrella organisation for Irish development NGOs, this review aims to support some thirty Irish development actors in identifying practical steps towards human rights based approaches in their development and humanitarian work.

IHRN support involves mapping current views and practices regarding human rights among Dóchas members through surveys, interviews and analysis. Based on these participatory findings, the Network will advise on practical recommendations.

The review is funded jointly by Dóchas and IHRN, as part of the Network’s pro bono programme. This discussion document is now available  Human Rights Based Development: Mapping with Dóchas Members.
