What we do

IHRN creates, applies and learns from, Human Rights Based Approaches through these types of activity:
  • Own-initiative projects: proposed by Network experts
  • Learning: such as training, research and consultation
*international conference on justice evaluation 2009
*organisational learning with  the Danish Institute for Human Rights 2009
            • Advocacy: acting as an advocate of human rights change, independently and in coalition with others.
            • Pro bono: supporting other not-for-profit organisations which share the Network’s core principles, including mentoring young human rights advocates in developing countries.

Distilled from its experience and its policy positions the Network applies a number of core principles.
