International Human Rights Network – A Not-For-Profit Organisation Providing Practical, Expert, Support To Organisations Applying Human Rights Based Approaches

WHAT WE DO

The International Human Rights Network is a registered not-for-profit company in the Republic of Ireland and is the successor of the International Human Rights Trust (established in 1995). IHRN advocates for the application of human rights-based approaches and provides capacity-building support to others seeking to develop and enhance HRBA in their work. Services provided include advice, training, project needs assessment, design and evaluation, organisational reviews, research, and analysis. Partners include states, inter-governmental organizations and agencies, civil society organisations, and private sector actors. IHRN provides pro bono support to developing world NGOs seeking to enhance their capacity to apply HRBA.

HRBA

A joint initiative of the International Federation Terre des Hommes, Action Aid International, Amnesty International EU Office, and the International Human Rights Network exploring the application of human rights based approaches to EU development policies.

Project formulation and Evaluation

Project evaluation is the process of assessing the success of a project against its intended objectives. Evaluation can be conducted at various stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to implementation and post-project review. Training / Capacity building

Since 1996, the Network has worked to promote organisational learning from development and field experience by those mandating, funding or deploying such missions - whether inter-governmental organisations or states. This is founded on promoting sustainable partnership with, and accountability to, the host society.
